Adam 11 De Tyndale         b. before 1178 – d.1233       Baron of Langley,                                                                         married Joan 1210.  Ref: Roots Web’s World connect                        children Phillippa 1210, Robert 1212 & Isobel 1215.

With Isabel and Philippa, the family name of de Tindale would appear to have terminated in 1233, at least that is what the existing records indicate; though the possibility of as yet unrevealed, or lost, material must be allowed for.                                                                        One son Robert noted my heritage & Geni. (These Heritage two Web sites record Robert).

7. Robert de Tyndale             b. 1212 – 1250  Baron of South Tyne-dale & Langley Castle,                                                                        Northumberland, England. (fabpedigree.com)                                                                       Son Robert.

8. Robert Tyndale                c. 1250 – 1293     Robert (of Tansover) de Tyndale                    m.  Heloiza      in 1285.                                      Child noted Robert (fab pedigree.com)  Could some check Robert 1212 out? Don McDonald

Do you know if any of these people have profiles in Wikitree? If not who would be in that line for a starting point?
I added the EuroAristo tag, since the line would fall within the project.  It will bring your question to the attention of the project members.

Hi Donald and Richard,

I believe that this is the Adam mentioned. There are several sources on the profile...Tyndale.org and a History of Northumberland with a pedigree. I hope that helps.

My guess is that the profiles would be this Robert and this Robert.  Judging by the span of years in the profiles between Tyndale-14 and grandfather Adam, there are generations missing and research needed.  Burke's isn't reliable.  I don't have access to the NEHGS Register referenced.

Here's a site that discusses the Tyndale line.

Stirnet has a Robert de Tyndale of Tansover (undated) with son Sir William (dsp 1293) and Robert (a 1293).  Son Robert m Joan and had son Sir William who married Elizabeth (niece of Sir Henry Deane of Deane), who had son John de Tyndale that married Catherine Zouch (dau of Sir Humphrey Zouch).  This line is the one that is for the profiles for which I provided the links.

Is there a lineage that you are trying to connect to or prove?

I have detached Robert Tyndale from Adam due to the difference in dates.
