Would you like to start a Name Study for a surname in 2020? Sign up below (answer, don't comment) and Ros will create the page for you and add you as the manager. If you do not already have it, you will be awarded the One Name Studies Project Member badge.

Please note when requesting redirects to variants: There can only be three spellings of the surname per Study, and one of them must be the name itself (such as Haywood, Heywood, and Hayward for the Haywood Name Study). This is set due to limitations of the creation form plus lack of manpower.

Chasing some birth family and this surname keeps popping up: Zbin

In various census and older records, various spellings are different (Sbin, Cben, Czbin, et al) but Zbin seems to be what most alive today are using nowadays. The line I am chasing is from current Czech Republic, but when they emigrated, it would have been known as Austro-Hungarian Empire.
