Claas Laurens Vander Volgen Mohawk children?

I recently learned Claas Lauren's Vander Volgen is my 8th great grandfather. As he lived with the Mohawk to 23 years old, it seems logical he had Mohawk children?

You would need to go looking for sources, but there is no guarantee.

The Mohawk were matrilineal, so the father would not be an important person, possibly not even considered a relative. Some captives were integrated into the tribe, but many weren’t so there’s no reason to expect he had a Mohawk wife and/or children.
