Proposed merges not found in changes log

+9 votes
Proposed merges are not being shown in Changes Log.  Is this a change or a problem?  They have been included previously and reflected who proposed it.  I see the proposed merge in the merge section at the bottom and the comment, but not in the Changes Log.  The other places can and will disappear, but Changes Log should retain who and when merges were proposed.

Edit - the other profile may have been an orphan but that doesn't mean the the change log should not reflect the history of merges being proposed

Edit - contributions list also does not show them, but that is probably related to Changes Log not having them.

This is definitely a problem - especially for Arborists, Rangers and Mentors. I look forward to it being fixed soon :)

since they did this, the proposed merges have not been showing in the change logs (they show as an edit, but nothing shows when you click on the edit to see what was done).

I didn't realize it was showing as an edit, but you are probably correct, it might be related to comments change, but it shouldn't. We definitely need it correct for history
We will be doing a round of bug fixes and improvements surrounding the new comments system early next week, and this is on the list of things to fix.
Thanks Jamie.  I hadn't thought of it being related to the comments change.
Thank you, Jamie.
It looks like the Changes Log is showing when a Merge is completed now, but it still isn't showing properly when the Merge is proposed.
