Hello Jessica - I just asked the question yesterday on G2G for the 52 Ancestors challenge as that page is also closed (Maybe the same one?).  The answer I was given by several experienced WikiTreers is the only way is to send Eowyn a personal message.  I'd rather not bother her, but apparently it's the only way.  I tagged my question 52 ancestors but I'll add the 52 Photos tag as well in case anyone else is in the same boat.  Well done on the challenge btw, it's quite a feat!

Thanks Linda! I think my strategy is just going to be to wait for the 2020 challenge thread to appear. I feel awkward about bugging Eowyn too, so I'll just wait for the official avenue.

This a photo taken about 1923 of my father, Chick Lovelace, in the dark hat with his friend having a good time in a toy car. 52 photos has made me look deeper into my photos. I can not help but worry about the poor little boy across the street on the right, as I wonder if his parents are standing behind the fence to see if he tries to cross the street to play with them.

I love this photo from about 1910. The baby is my Grandmother Elizabeth (Mark) Fichtner, and the others are her brothers and sisters. Their names were (oldest to youngest): Beulah (Mark) Ose, Marion Mark, Nellie (Mark) Webb, and Clarence Mark.

How is this photo in such GREAT condition? It is amazing for that time period! The photo of my grandmother (that I posted today) was taken about the same year, 1909-1910, and it is in poor condition.

This is of my descendants not my ancestors, but I just love it. These are my two children in 1998 or 1999, probably at Cape Henlopen, Delaware, or Assateague Island, Maryland. Neither of them took to birdwatching, so it's something of a miracle my wife got this shot.

There is no photo of my great-uncle, Bracken Ridge Underwood, but one of my earliest memories is my grandfather taking me to his gravestone and telling me the story of his death as he remembered it form the age of five.

Thanks Pip for sharing the story. When I was about five my grandmother shared the story of her two older brothers who died before she was born. The loft of the old log cabin on their property was used to store grain. They were playing there when it collapsed and smothered them. I used to feel so strange that they were just as real to me as her other brothers and their stories. So glad I'm not alone.

No, you are not alone. I feel the same way about my Uncle Bracken. I saw my grandfather cry twice in my life. One of those was when he was sharing me the story of Bracken's death. Grandpa was only five-years-old then in 1895. His father, a carpenter, made the small coffin, and his mother made the lining for the coffin. So very sad.

My Great Grandparents James and Susan Porter were the teachers at this school in Mansell Lacy, Herefordshire, England. The little girl standing next to her mother is my Grandma, Amy.  The photo was taken in 1890 and shows all the children attending this small village school.

This is the first photo I posted in the challenge a year ago, so I'm going to loop back around and post it for my 52nd.

This photo is one of my favorites. My great-grandmother Evaline Powell and her siblings and cousins apparently attended a one room school in Nebraska called Happy Corner School.  Here they are on May 23, 1912. Evaline is the little girl on the left with a mark over her head. 

She looks quite a bit like my own daughter when she was four or five. (My daughter is nine now, so she looks quite a bit like her now too.)

There are several children in this family photo.

It was taken in my parents back yard in Albuquerque, NM.  They are John William Sims (1919-1983) and Ruth Ann Rammel-Sims (1918-2006).

The people are all of the descendants of John and Ruth at the time.  The family has grown several generation since then.

These are the first five children of Carrie Yaeger and John Wesley Frazier Junior. This was taken prior to one daughter, Vera, passing away at age 6 in 1914, and also prior to their final daughter, Elisabeth "Scotty", being born in 1921.

52 Photos Week 2: Children

This picture is from  circa 1900, and is my husband's grandmother, Kathryn Mervin's confirmation class.  Kathryn was born in April 24, 1889 in St. Anne, Illinois and she died May 21, 1957.  During the time this picture was taken she was living in Pembroke, Illinois, but was attending the Momence Illinois School District.

Kathryn's father was from Germany and her mother was from Holland. Only 8 years after this picture was taken, Kathryn became the bride of Clinton Grant Hess.

I have placed a KM on the sidewalk by her picture.

My grandfather and his sisters. Taken in rural Alberta, near Red Deer, approximately 1908.

This photo was shared with me by a cousin. I had not seen it before last year and that lovely young girl sitting down with the giant bow in her hair is my grandmother, Madeleine Sinclair Brock Berryann. The young man is her brother, Alfred W Brock and the baby is their little sister, Beatrice May Brock   Cain. I am guessing, but going by their birth years, I think this photo had to be taken around 1909-1910 (in New York).
