I wanted to share this family photo of Henry Buntin with the community. Location: In front of Mount Vernon Church, Glencoe, Oklahoma. Date: 1930.

They look like a very pleasant couple.  She's holding the flowers and he looks like he's glad he gave them to her!

Cheryl, Your question, "Anniversary?" prompted me to look for the original photo.  On the back is written, October 31, 1937.  They were married November 1, 1877 - so yes!  He probably did give her the flowers and happy about it.  This would have been the day before their 60th wedding anniversary.  Thank you!

Wow, 60 years.  Wonderful.  My husband and I are in our 55th year.  Ups and downs but worth it all.

I wonder if it was a special day or was this man the type that always wore a suit. He reminds me of my grandfather. My grandfather always wore a suit and if he went out he wore a hat. Even in his 80s.
