If I create a free space or a category, can I change the name later, if I find it doesn't work or I don't like it..

Absolutely. Just like on a persons profile, you can change the name... but you can not change it's URL. If you edit the name after creating the page, it changes what is displayed on the page, but the web address will not change.

Thank you. I can live with that.

Strictly, you can never actually change an LNAB.  The process to "change" an LNAB creates a new one and then merges the old one into the new one.  This is a good substitute, but the change log will stay with the old one and won't be fully accessible.

Same with a freespace.  To change the URL you can make a new one and merge the old one with it at [[Special:MergeSpace]].  But the old name won't entirely go away and you can't reuse it once you've merged it - the redirection is fixed for good.

Never create a freespace with double-quote marks in the name.  You'll find it doesn't always work, and when you try to merge it to get rid of it, that's one of the times when it doesn't work.

So the freespace "name" is an equivalent data type to LNAB?
Anne, if the page created is recent and you are not worried about it having been linked to, you could create the new Free-Space page name and copy and paste the old info into the new page.
I haven't created it yet. I try to line the ducks up before I make mistakes on something new.
