Thank you Robin. She was a lovely woman from what I've heard. The photo is particularly special to me because the photo was taken by her two aunties. They were sisters who were both widowed in their 40s or 50s. They didn't retire into black for the rest of their lives. Instead, they built up their own photographic studio (Hicks and Booth) and, according to my mother's stories, they owned the first electric car in Hollywood.
