I am a descendant of James M. Henderson born 1795 in North Carolina. In my family documents he had 2 sons born 1816 John V. and Robert Alexander Henderson who i descend from.Who was the unknown mother of these 2 children? It seem James M. Henderson is seen on a family crest a friend of mine found for me,but after that family is dropped. Could James M. Henderson have married a native american and hence the information was blotted from family history? I know this was comman practice then. I do know Robert Alexander married Martha Lupina Robinson and gave birth to John Washington Henderson and his daughter Mary Orlena Henderson was my great grandmother. i only know of James M. Henderson from tracing back from my mother's side tohim and this is the only information we have.
