Hi John,

It appears that you entered an AncestryDNA Paternal Lineage (Y-DNA) test on your profile in June 2019. Is that a correct test for you? I ask because Ancestry.com retired their Y-DNA (Paternal) and mtDNA (Maternal) tests back in 2014. If that's not the test that you took, you can delete that test info from your profile. In the top right of your profile, choose Add/DNA Test Info and use the Delete button.

If instead of (or in addition to) that test, you took their AncestryDNA (autosomal) test, you can add that test to your profile. At the bottom of that same page, in the Add New Test Information select AncestryDNA (not Paternal or Maternal) and add your Ancestry.com user name (if desired). If you've downloaded your raw DNA from Ancestry.com and uploaded it to the GEDmatch site, you can also enter your GEDmatch ID.

Hope this helps! If you still have questions, post back here.

Start with GEDMatch. Then you can enter your information at Special:DNATests.
