Hello - first time trying to do something here other than ask questions!  If this is the right place to submit an ancestor whose's story should be made into a movie, may I submit Charles Asgill https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Asgill-2 ?  Professor Peter Henriques has just had a book come out, First and Always https://books.google.co.uk/books?id=4IbRDwAAQBAJ&lpg=PP1&pg=PT71#v=onepage&q&f=false which tells his story, and Peter is determined to get it onto the silver screen!  I am keeping all my fingers and toes crossed that he succeeds!

My original post here was in reply to Kay Knight's comment that two people on my tree needed sources.

My response was that Charles Asgill's Wikipedia page is already the source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sir_Charles_Asgill,_2nd_Baronet and his mistress, Mary Ann Mansel, also has a Wikipedia page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Ann_Mansel

I should be most grateful if Kay Knight would amend accordingly and remove the "lack of sources" commentary please.  I would do so myself except I do not know how to do so.

This is the first time I have participated in a challenge and I'm not sure this is how I'm supposed to post about it! Endings is just another way to say Beginnings in my case. I posted a photo taken at the burial of my great-grandfather, George Henry Jones.

I have posted both photos and ancestors in this series quite frequently but I did not sign up until now. I have no idea how many times I posted, but I can't remember missing a post. I have posted a photo by adding the space page to my photo. But I am not sure it worked, especially since it said that people who post a picture for the first time should post it on a different page in order to get a badge. This is all quite confusing, and I am not sure what to do to get a badge.

I just posted a picture of my ggfather James Edwin Compton on the porch of 14 Fayette st. Cambridge, Mass. after a snowstorm.  I don't see it on the 52 photos week 48 yet.  I have not posted on this challenge before, so I do not have the badge.  Thanks, Deborah Compton

I believe I just completed my 52 in 52 ancestors challenge. There was a week I missed in August that I just posted in, and to the best of my ability to determine that's the last one. I've really appreciated the prompts and the encouragement to dig deeper into my family history. Thanks everyone who made it possible!

Eowyn, I have completed all 52 questions from the 52 Ancestors challenge of 2020. It's been great fun this year. I have really enjoyed both giving my responses and reading those provided by others. Thank you for enabling us to participate in this manner and for all you do with WikiTree. I wish you and all those in WikiTree all the best for 2021, which will hopefully bring us all more peace, safety, and fellowship together. - Bill

I participated sometimes in the 2020 52 Ancestors and 52 Photos Challenges, but I never post here and so I didn't get a badge. Is it possible to get it retroactively?

And of course I would participate 2021 as well.
