I was feeling nostalgic for the last good impeachment we had, that of Tricky Dick, and so I connected some of his co-conspirators

E. Howard Hunt

Jeb Stuart Magruder (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Magruder-414)

Findagrave has a Watergate Posthumous Reunion page if anyone else feels inspired...

John Ehrlichman is still unconnected

Elliot Richardson is connected

Tricky Dick was not impeached; the impeachment process did begin in the House of Representatives, but he resigned.

Edit

I am apparently related to two of these individuals ... Jeb Stuart Magruder and Elliot Richardson.
Good idea to revisit this, though I admit the post title worried me at first.
The last President to be impeached was Bill Clinton. He was only the second President to be impeached, following Andrew Johnson. Both were impeached in the House of Representatives and both were acquitted in the Senate.
As others have pointed out, my 7th cousin Richard Nixon was not impeached. Magruder is an 8th cousin 3x removed and Richardson 7th cousin 1x removed. Interesting connections.
I wish I still had my "Sam the Man" t-shirt (Sam Ervin). Loved how he cut through all the bs and LOVED those eyebrows!

Maybe we should have a category.

Here's the first candidate William Latimer  1330-1381.No mention of this historic precedent on his profile at present.

I'm a 7th cousin 1x removed from Elliott Richardson through Justinian Holden. We are related through others as well, but wikitree only appears to do one line. His several times great grandfather was Samuel Richardson. Samuel was brother to my several times great grandfather, Ezekiel Richardson. Both Richardsons were founders of Woburn, MA and both came from Westmill, Hertfordshire along with 3rd brother, Thomas Richardson.

Update! John Ehrlichman is now connected thanks to S Stevenson.  And the connection was through someone named Stevenson....seems like a conspiracy is afoot.
