I'm not sure what to make of the reference to cat house boats in the Holland Netherlands article.  Does that mean house-boats inhabited by cats or boats that also function as cat-houses?  It's Amsterdam, so either one of those is equally likely.  wink

Aaw, it's pretty boring, Erik.  The reference to 'cat house boats' appears as a link in my browser (Firefox), and it takes you to another page that describes a boat full of cats, the animals.

Thanks for sharing, Brian. This list of articles looked familiar to me because I had seen the same list in my  "Weekly Genealogist" email from NEHGS.

Other folks can get complete copies of that same email newsletter every week by signing up at https://www.americanancestors.org/browse/publications/the-weekly-genealogist
