I'm trying to find a marriage record for Peleg Bradford and Emily Waugh.

Dear friends,
I am trying to find a marriage record for Peleg Bradford (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Bradford-6047) and Emily Waugh.  Online sources claim they were married on the 20th of November or December 1839 in Woolwich, Maine.  I have gone through several hundred images on FamilySearch for the Vital Records of Woolwich, Maine.  It enabled me to find this Birth record for Peleg, but I have not been able to find the marriage record.

I also need to find a birth record for Emily Waugh (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Waugh-1879).  Her parents on her death record are William Waugh and Martha Sampson.  She was supposedly born in Starks, Somerset County, Maine, which makes me wonder why the marriage would not also have been in Starks.

My expertise is in working with French-Canadian and French Catholic church records.  I am much less familiar with where to look for resources for Yankee ancestors.  I would appreciate any assistance that can be provided.

The marriage record is on Family Search .

Thank you for your reply Wayne,
Trees on Family Search and Ancestry.com give 20 Nov 1839 or 20 Dec 1839 in Woolwich, Maine for the marriage.  However, I contacted the Town Clerk in Woolwich, Maine to see if she could find such a record and her initial answer was "No".  She said she will continue looking.

The information on Family Search and Ancestry.com is unsourced, unless you know of a reliable primary or secondary source that I am unfamiliar with.
The lady in Maine has a copy of the marriage Cert. You can

find her tree on Ancestry, see if she will send you a copy. She

messaged me the contents.
Thanks Wayne for another response.  Do you happen to know the name or username of the "lady in Maine" on Ancestry.com?  Do you have a tree on Ancestry.com, perhaps I could find the record on your tree??

I was able to communicate with Karen yesterday.  She and my wife are distant cousins.  Unfortunately, she does not have a primary source record of the marriage.  The date on Ancestry.com and FamilySearch is still unsourced.  I looked through 619 images of Woolwich vital records for the second time yesterday and was not able to find this marriage.  I also looked through 377 images in Starks vital records.

I found several records relating to Peleg Bradford, with this simple search on Family Search:

Most are his and Emily Waugh's children marriage records, I'm sure a more precise search will reveal the record you're searching for.

Good Luck

Thank you Doug.  I had already seen most of these images in my Ancestry.com account.  Unfortunately, the marriage record still remains hidden.  I looked through about 1000 slides of scanned vital records yesterday in an attempt to find it.  I will however, use your link to add the remaining children to the family.  Thanks again.
Glad to help, if only a little. It's tedious when you seem to be in the correct place but cannot find what you're looking for.

Good luck once again.
