Privacy page says I'm not Manager while Private Profile page says I am?

I initiated an invitation to my husband to join - - somewhere in the process my status icon has become red, the privacy page tells me I'm not a manager but my Private Profile page says I am.  What has happened.  I'm trying to end up with my husband set up to manage his own tree while I manage mine and both of us being trusted on the others profile.  How did I start off so wrong?

THANKS!

Curious to see the question "asked ... by Stephen Stinson."

Do you see different information whether you are logged in as Blevins-707 (rather than Stinson-514?
I could get our individual pages to come up with both of us having a red icon instead of the yellow shade for managers.  I've been "putcing" around and was finally able to get it to sign me in again under my log-in and pw .  Then checked both sets of pages, signed myself up as trusted on his, then went to mine and all the numbers were back on my drop-down tabs (points, badges, etc.) - - these had all been zeros.  I'm just going to keep "putcing" and see what happens.

Thanks, Gene, for checking in.  MUCH appreciated.

From one "putcer-er" to another, welcome aboard, Betsy.

The yellow icon has nothing to do with being a profile manager.  It is a privacy setting.

Thanks, Maureen - - I know, but what had me so puzzled was that we had not changed my privacy status from "private with public bio and tree" to "private".  Mentioning the yellow (light orange, we've since learned) was just a way to explain the curiosities we were coming up against while trying to "graduate" Steve to his own manager with both of us "trusted" for the other. I just use the colors of the icons as it is easier than putting the full name of each all the time.

Plus doesn't it say somewhere in all the "helps" that managers are the "private with public bio and tree" (lighter orange) because of the level of access they need, etc.?  I just can't remember where I saw that so I can't give an excact reference.  Sorry for that - - I'm one who much prefers being able to say where I saw a bit of helpful info so if you or anyone else know where I'm referencing from, a "road map" to that page would be appreciated as I didn't bookmark that page.
I think I just didn't understand your question.   I  am glad you got it figured out.
