Two John Macomber 213 and 37 with same dates birth and death. I am a descendant of john, which one I choose?

Hi Claudia!  Thank you for joining our WikiTree!

I would choose the lower numbered profile because after the merge, it will still be the correct number.  If they are the same person, Macomber-213 will be merged into Macomber-37, so just cut to the chase and link to Macomber-37.

They are the same person and a merge is pending. You can choose either one and the link to the merged profile will be automatic.
