Error 581 (Find-a-Grave - Missing Death Location)

+12 votes
This morning, I'm getting error 581 (Find a Grave - Missing death location) on several profiles I manage.  All of them do have death locations listed on the profile (in most cases it matches what is on Find a Grave exactly, but in one, the WikiTree death location was more specific).

All of the profiles in question are yellow privacy level (private with public biography and family tree).  Burris-1861 is one of the profiles in question, if an example is needed (I did mark the error as a false suggestion, though).

Is it possible this might be a bug?  Or perhaps I'm misunderstanding what the error is referring to?

In reviewing the one on my report, seems that it could only access the vague decade dates on the profiles. After comparing the dates, I marked it false.  Presume they will adjust the search, to correct this in the future.

Ditto .. marked all as false : not missing location ..

I have found a problem. Private profiles sneaked into the checking. and added 16000 private profiles to suggestions, since private profiles have no location listed in the public dump.

I am recalculatinge the suggestion and I will republish it in an hour or two.

You don't need to set the status for them, since they should be gone.

I am also getting the same error message regarding death locations for profiles with the yellow privacy level status. From my understanding, the death location should not appear in the public view with this privacy level. I have checked each one of my profiles with this error message and the death location is there.

Like you, is it a bug or am I misunderstanding the error message?

Me, too!  It seems to only be the yellow privacy level profiles.  I just marked them as false suggestions.

While checking mine I also found several were like this. I checked each profile and found the information was present. I did what Janet had done, set the status to False Suggestion, and included a short note that that information was present.
