Where is Otahuao

The birth certificate of William Hingston (image attached to his profile) shows his father was living at Otahuao (if I have transposed correctly).  Does anyone know where in Bay of Island that is?

Far to far away - needs to be in Northland but I didn't see it. Thanks Richard

According to this 1865 newspaper notice for John Wright Kingston(sic), Otahuao is at or near Kerikeri:

https://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/newspapers/NZH18650516.2.22.2

It's also mentioned in this 1839 land deed, the description of the land again indicating that Otahuao is at or near Kerikeri:

Papers Past says in the death notice that his father was from Ohaeawai, which my 1936 Index to NZ Places says is 184 miles north of Auckland   - sulphur springs within two miles  Hone Heke had one of his skirmishes here - there is a cemetery

Do you recognize that description?

Ohaewai is a different place and many of the Edmonds family lived there.  Otahauo is no longer used as a place name and was probably in the Bay of Islands as William's birthplace is given as Russell.
