When did she die and did she freeze to death on her steps

My mother's name was Trena Belgarde, daughter of Stephen and Evelyn Belgarde.  Rose was Evelyn's mother, which makes me her great grand daughter.  My mom which is Trena told me Rose died on her steps in the dead of winter.Please give me any info on this. I found out in 1959 Rose did die in one of the worst storms in Helena MT.  She was found dead in her yard.  I've done a lot of research and found out she was also married to William Simpson and had a daughter named Ethel, born 1911..
