Help with finding parents

Question

Alexander Cooper's profile ( cooper-12086) shows Charles Cooper as father. I feel this is not correct.             1. Source says parents were born in Ireland                          2. Marriage 1840 in Pulaski County Virginia.                        3. Charles was in Ohio with children born before and     after Alexander's birth date of 1818.

The profile manager does excellent work but I believe she is mistaken here.

His Find A Grave is on Ancestry.com,it has his father as

Charles Cooper,mothers first name Tabitha.Also his full name

is John Alexander Cooper.There is a caution,often Fag is

what someone later has added.I have seen those that are in

error,

The profile manager also manages the find a Grave memorial.

I strongly believe it is error as well.

Alexander Cooper's parents were from Ireland. He lived in Wythe County Virginia and married Ann Farmer in Pulaski County in 1840.
