Today, Katie Goodwin is featured in our "Meet our Members" profile in our WikiTree News. I know Katie, talk to Katie and have spent time with Katie during live chats...
She has never mentioned this wonderful profile to me before. But, because of her interview, I got to see it. Wonderful, Just wonderful!

Home Children was a British sourced child migration program founded by Annie MacPherson in 1869, under which more than 100,000 British children, predominantly poor or orphaned children, were sent to the British colonies of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa with the intent of alleviating labour shortages.
The Mission of the British Home Children Team is to add and improve profiles of all identified British Home Children of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and South Africa. Project members take primary responsibility for relevant profiles or family groups and work on merging duplicates, cleaning up profiles, adding sources, removing incorrect information and offer research assistance as needed.
