Merging the Multiple William Sabins

As some of you know, I'm actively supporting efforts of a small group here merging duplicate profiles of early colonial settlers of Massachusetts-- starting with direct-line ancestors of my husband for which I have done a fair amount of research. Some of these Historically Significant Ancestors have more duplicates than others. William Sabin of Rehoboth (b 1609; m 1639 Mary Wright) is a prime example. So far, I have identified the following duplicates that need merging, followed by their Profile Manager and how active that PM is:

  • Sabin-13 (Katherine Patterson; very active) - TARGET (lowest profile number)
  • Sabin-20 (Rick Hoskins; active)
  • Sabin-24 (Reba McMillan; active)
  • Sabin-37 (Sara Feder; can’t view contributions)
  • Sabin-45 (Stephen Richard Wilkinson; active)
  • Sabin-94 (John Putnam; active)
  • Sabin-133 (Robert Palmer; can’t view contributions)

Giving you all a head's up that these merge requests will be coming your way. I hope you will approve them in a timely way.

I promise to clean up the resulting narrative which will no doubt be a mess, and I request the patience of all these PMs (and anyone else watching these pages) as I/we work through the morass of duplicate children, parents and spouses. I will be adding source citations where I have them.

Please let me know here if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks!

Jillaine

Requesting admin assistance in completing these merges (see list at bottom of sabin-13) as Profile Managers have been non-responsive. (One said he added me to Trusted List, but it doesn't seem to have actually happened.) Thanks.
