This is a unique photo of a community in Humphreys Co, TN . Location: Humphreys County, TN. Date: 1900. Daughter of William Clayton Thedford ( Eula Thedford) is in this photo. McEwen  was very small community and this photo gives insight into the dress for this period. These are early settlers in this county. William Clayton is son of my  2nd.GGrandfather.

Wow. I guess you had to have a hat!  I have a family picture with the ladies wearing pretty large hats. Part of the formal dress up for the day. That's a big family and a great picture to have with them all in it. Rare these days I think.
