I dont know how to search on here and rootsearch dont work. Im just looking for way to show proof to parents Cornelia DeGroot.

Do you have a profile ID for this Cornelia? There are many Cornelia DeGroot.

I don't know who Marvel Garrison is (Marvel is not a name I would expect to see in a woman of the New Netherland culture), but I believe I found the Cornelia DeGroot you are talking about. She is https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/DeGroot-62 . She was baptized in 1685 and her profile indicates that she married Jonas Gerretson.

From your question, it wasn't at all clear if the information you posted was for Marvel Garrison or her parents, or possibly somebody else entirely. What is the source of your information about this so-called Marvel Garrison? Do you have the baptism record from Tappan?

I found "Marvel." She is documented in Patricia Wardell's notes for the Gerretsen/Garrison family, available for download from a link at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Early_Bergen_County_Families . The relevant file is BCFam-Garrison.pdf -- see pages 43-44.

She apparently was baptized as Maerbil and at later times was recorded as Mermel and Merbel.

I was clearly mistaken about the gender of Marvel. Everyone of that name I ever knew was a woman!

I just found a profile for 'Marvel' - https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Garrison-2341

Which brings up the fact that there are duplicate profiles for Cornelia and Jonas...  I'll head over and propose the merges.
