can someone help me find military service record?

Question

I am trying to find the service record of George E. Ricker.          (Ricker-1047) Born 9 Nov 1880 in New Hampshire, Son of Charles Ricker and Edith Goodwin..The family lived in Somersworth New Hampshire for most of their lives... I have found his ww1 draft record but on his death certificate it says the he was a veteran for the Spanish American War but im having trouble finding any other information for it. Im not very good with all the military stuff so ive always avoided it in my genealogy research! But the town of Somersworth is redoing their Veterans Memorial Park this spring and you  are able to purchase Veterans bricks to be engraved with their names, branch and years of service!! I have purchased one for my great grandfather but now I would like to get one for all of his brothers that served! so any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

It's not clear as to how long he was in the Army. Maybe someone at the Military and War project would be a good resource to sleuth out more information, such as how long he was in the Military and whether he had been in combat.
