Marie Marguerite Lalonde was Born September 9, 1809 in Les Cèdres, Bas-Canada. She Married Joseph Ranger aka “Ronger” September 30, 1828 in Saint-Polycarpe Bas-Canada. Together had at least 3 children. Joseph Ranger, Sarah Ann (Ranger) Hines and Matilda (Ronger) (Grant) Simpier. We need a date of death and burial location. Any help in her genealogy and obtaining sources would be appreciated.

Thank you

good luck with that one, that is not a rare name, and she was a minor on her wedding day in 1828.  The last thing that shows up for them as a family with those names in Drouin is the funeral of their son Augustin in 1837 in St-Polycarpe.

There's also another couple in St-Polycarpe in the same era where the wife is Marguerite Lalonde, married to Jean Jouchereau/Souchereau; another married to a Pierre Denys.

Did they move from this province?  I see no marriages of their children at all coming up.  So may not have died here at all.

My Husband has Lalonde's in his family and they moved from Quebec to Ontario sometime between 1850-1880.  I wonder if Marguerite's family had a similar fate.

I DNA MATCH with the Lalonde surnames
