Help needed with parents of Thomas Veale (1565-1640)

Question

I'm trying to establish the parents of Thomas Veale, since this leads in a particularly interesting direction for my tree. Any data submitted will highly valued and accepted with sincere thanks.

I'm seeking validation of William Viell (1520-1591) and Jane Arundell (1537-1592) as parents, as hinted on FamilySearch.

The FaG for Thomas says parents John Vail and Mathilde Beckett. Ancestry have a number of Thomas Veale/Vail/Veil/Vale around those dates, not sure which is correct

I wouldn't take a lot of notice of the FAG data. It shows the father being born in Bishop's Tachbrook, which is in Warwickshire! Name is definitely Veale as well, not Vail.

Just checked Vivian's Visitations 1620 (pp 242-243) but that won't be much help. It shows the marriage of William Viell of Trevarder to Jane da. of Sir John Arundell of Trerice but only da. Dorothy married well. She is shown as co-heir so there were other children.
