How can I restrict a search for a Robert Bell to include someone born before a specific date?

When you uncover a common first and last name and want to go to that person's profile, you get too many names to look through and perhaps not the one you really want since it is restricted to 100 names.

Adding a wild card to restrict output would be helpful

Year of birth

Place of birth

Etc

Thanks

Hi Jim,

This isn't possible yet, but if you use FindMatches instead of search you have some options for date match ranges.

Many profiles on wikitree do not include that info. If you are just looking to connect by a known date you may lose opportunites to find sources that are found because of other descendents profiles. All you can do is slog through the profiles when you can hoping to find nuggets that will lead to sourcework. Many people have ignored sources on many sites untill there is a tangle of gedcoms and profiles that are basically just a name connecting to another name good luck.
