Default privacy for a deceased person with living children on gedcom import?

+2 votes
In the descriptions of the privacy categories in the Wiki it states under the category of Private with Public Biography and Family Tree that "This is the default setting for non-living people who are added as the child, spouse, sibling, or parent of a living person."

However, after importing a gedom I see that all people in that category (e.g., my grandparents) were actually all imported as Private with Public Biography (i.e. NOT with family tree).

Is this a change in the default behaviour that is not reflected in the Wiki explanation? A bug specific to gedcom import? I know that I can of course manually change them, but I was just puzzled by this.

Hi Brant,

We'll need to look at the GEDCOM import code and make some changes. This would be an inconsistency that happened when we liberalized the defaults.
