Looking for the 1940 US Census Data for Malcolm and Lucy Olthouse

Question

I've checked familysearch.org and came up empty.  I believe their eldest son Malcolm Layman was born in New Brunswick, o I'm not sure if they were still living there in 1940. Ancestry sometimes has census records than familyearch doesn't.

Have you tried searching with just the first names and location?  Sometimes I've had luck that way if the last name is so badly garbled that the search at FamilySearch doesn't pick up on it.  Not that helpful if it's John and Mary, but with Malcolm and Lucy it might work.
