George Weese, George David Weese, Lanaton Weare, Lanaton Wease?

Question

I have been researching on ancestry.com and the above persons keep showing up in the family trees as the same person.

So, what is going on with these references?

Thank you for pointing me in the correct direction on these family names.

George Weese and George David Weese look like the same person.  Lanaton Weare and Lanaton Wease are probably the same person.  Family trees are not neccessarily reliable sources of information.  Family trees are what somebody thinks is accurate information but they are often unsourced  and in general can be a help for looking for information but not much more.
