Advice before editing this pre-1700 Buckland profile?

Question

I have information to contribute to the profile of Isaac Buckland. This is what I can add: according to Massachusetts Births and Christenings, 1639-1915, these people should have the last name of Bucklin.  Would anyone like to take over this person to make sure it is correct?

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Bucklin is noted as other last name, and acknowledged in the bios. It looks like the PM s have decided to go with the latter spelling of the name. As if you search by Bucklin or Buckland you will find them, I am not sure it needs changing now. I agree they need more work but it requires a lot of work.
