Searching for the parents and possible siblings of Henry Witcher who was born in 1855

After finding the parents of my great great grandparents Alex and Alice Witcher and I was able to trace my lineage back for several more generations. However, I seem to have hit a bit of a roadblock with Henry Witcher. I was able to find quite a bit of information about him but my research has yielded no results regarding his parents. I do know that he lived in Lowndes County, AL. He was born in 1855 and he married Julia Ann Martin in 1873. Any information about his parents would be greatly appreciated.

I think this second Marriage is to a different Henry.
Hi Marion. Thanks for your help. I had already combed through all of the information that you had provided previously. I have even searched numerous census, death, and marriage records and I have yet to find any listing of Henry's parents. Since he was born in 1855, I believe that it is either possible or even likely that he was born a slave. I believe that it is also likely that he was a mulatto and was possibly the offspring of his master and one of his slaves. I say this because although Henry is always listed as colored or a negro, many of his decendents were mulattos. Even today there are still some of his descendents who bear some of the same features. Additionally, I believe the second marriage is that of one of his sons. As always thanks for the help.
