When will the Diocese of Cefalu' in Sicily be posted online by FamilySearch please?

Several Italian dioceses have been posted online by familysearch.org. I can not find the Diocese of Cefalu' yet. Can anyone help please?

There are no church records for Cefalu in the FamilySearch catalog.

There is a letter of a few years ago from the Vatican directing the Bishops world-wide not to allow LDS access to church registers for microfilming. In a search I did not find anything to indicate that this has changed. If there is presently nothing for the particular diocese, I would not expect this to change in the foreseeable future.

You can always try writing to the parish of interest. You may or may not get a response. It is very possible a donation may be required.

Sharon, Wikitree.com (where this forum is) and Familysearch.org which is managed by the Latter Day Saints are two separate entities. You would need to contact the LDS offices about the missing Diocese

Thank you! I can not get an answer on their blog, so I thought someone here might know. I think there many LDS folks who use wikitree and might know how to expeditie specific files.
Sharon, as George Fulton says, If the Pope has said no "a few years ago" it might happen that the Diocese you are interested in will never be scanned, indexed and so forth.
