Question

Jerusha (Gibbs) Griswold married Daniel Griswold. We need help with her Parental lineage it appears her parents are Jacob and Mary Gibbs. Children are Josiah, Daniel, Jacob, and George. Need help adding husband Daniel Griswold to Wikitree with sources.  She is buried in Wethersfield Village Cemetery in historic Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. Any Help is appreciated. Thank you

I got the photos of the gravestones so piecing it together this helps a lot

Jacob and Mary Gibbs around 1742. Interesting.

Very possible her Gibbs in rocky hill many moved back and forth Wethersfield and rocky hill in history https://www.findagrave.com/cemetery/103261/center-cemetery

No other Gibbs in Wethersfield village cemetery in fact they use her married name griswold

FIND A GRAVE HAS YEAR AS 1743

Oh god she died on her birthday; however grave inscription recorded as 63rd year she died see Wethersfield burying ground map link on her profile. So maybe born in 1740?

I’m getting the impression Daniel Griswold was in military around revolution war time

Hello cousin.  Daniels parents are Griswold-1520, Josiah Griswold and Belden-417, Mabel Belden.  I'll let you do the honors and make the connections.  :-)

If Daniel's mother is a Belden from Wethersfield, the family may have connections to Deerfield and Hadley, Mass.
