I am trying to find who were the parents of Linton Joseph Fontenot.  I want to get in touch with any relatives of Linton.  He was from Eunice Louisiana.  Birth 9-28-1928 Death 9-28-1991.  He died on his birthday.  His father died in an automobile accident  when Linton was four  years old.  He had I think one brother and maybe 3 sisters. Linton was the youngest.  I want to find any living cousins, children anything.  Linton has a 67 year old daughter. She was born in Germany where he was while he was in military.  He left her mom before she was born. Daughter just wants some closure.  She has also done searches with no results.

anonymous, Hi!  If, you would include either the birth place or death place.  I imagine one of us would be happy to try and help you.  You also, didn't include which country.  Finally, if you could mention a sibling or other member of the family the two names could be compared so, one could determine if they had found the correct person.  Many people share the same name and birth date.  Good luck in your search.

The only additional information I have is his wife'said name, Hedwig (Heddy).

I know he was stationed in Germany in 1949 and 1950.

He was from Eunice, Louisiana.

The census data is a long shot, however, you might try the County Clerk in Bexar, TX to see if there is a death certificate you can obtain that might have more information.

Hi Ray, I have been in touch with Toby's wife, Donna and also Sherman. Toby took the DNA test through 23&me, as did I. Donna contacted me within 1 day of me recieving my results.  Sherman called me and texted me some pictures of your uncle (my father).  Although I have brown hair (now starting to go gray) and brown eyes, my eyes and eye brows are shaped exactly like his. The shape of my face is also the same. I'm hoping to meet you and your siblings  this coming winter.
