I viewed John Garden death in a Roman Catholic register  4 th Jan 1838 in Preshome.

No other details as it was just a register.

Any help?

Hi David,

John Garden is my g,g,g, grandfather. Can I ask what is your connection?

They are a most interesting family to research. Any interesting stories.

Thanks

Hi David,

According to Scotlandspeople Old Parish Registers there are the following records for the death/burial for the name John Garden:

John Garden 1 death/burial notice in 1837 in Aberdeen Parish & 3 in 1839,  2 in Old Machar Parish & 1 in Ellon Parish in the Aberdeen Old Parish Register Deaths & Burials section.

There are no records for a death/burial in Rathven Parish Banffshire between 1830 & 1840 for the name John Garden.

Rannachy was a farm in Aberdeenshire. Rathven Parish is in Banffshire.

All the best
