The Birch family of Fazeley/Tamworth, Staffordshire

I am presently researching this family unit that is listed in the 1841 England Census, under this link:

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MQT3-M7T

A number of walls are presenting themselves. The children Sarah, Mary & John are likely the children of William Birch & Hannah, with Sarah & John baptised in Tamworth, Staffordshire. Mary is verified by her marriage details in 1852 in Fazeley,to Gerge Osborne, were the residence given of Atherstone Sreet, is where, Mary, John & mother Rose H ( Rose’s birth place given as Rugeley) were living in England Census of 1851.

There appears to be another son William born to William Birch & Hannah, in 1827. The William in 1841 Census, though has a birth year around 1817. Ancestry UK does not appear to be able to replicate the 1841 Census. I hoped to be able to review the Census image for verification & clues to William Birch & also Edward Smith. Both William & Rosehannah are suggested to be non Staffordshire birth. Would someone try to replicate this 1841 & review the Census image, please. Secondly, who is Rosehannah, as I am unable to find any marriage to a William Birch? Could see be the brother or daughter of Edward Smith?

Sorry, I don't know why it has underscribed.
Better have another go.  The link doesn't work, either.
The link is working now, for whatever reason!

I have looked at the image and there is nothing else to be gained from it (except that William is an Ag Lab).  It's all exactly as transcribed:

Sarah Birch Female 12 Staffordshire

Mary Birch Female 10 Staffordshire

John Birch Male 7 Staffordshire

Edward Smith Male 70 Staffordshire

William Birch Male 25

Rosehannah Birch Female 49

The 1841 census, as I'm sure you are aware, does not list relationships (like Husband and Wife).  My guess is that Rosehannah is the Hannah you have already mentioned; a younger man married to an older woman!  Pure theory: Edward Smith, age 70, is the father of Rosehannah (Smith) Birch; she is married to William.  How about this record? (maybe she was originally a Smith, married to a Marshall first?)

"England Marriages, 1538–1973 ," database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NLW8-ZYN : 10 February 2018), William Birch and Rosanna Marshall, 29 Aug 1825; citing Saint Martin,Birmingham,Warwick,England, reference , index based upon data collected by the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City; FHL microfilm 0919779-781, 0919782, 0919783.

Thanks Ros, I have pondered as to whether it was a second marriage and Edward Smith was her father. Worth looking further.

It sounds from your question like you have a subscription to Ancestry, so in order to see the image for yourself you can search for their "interesting" transcription of Edward Smith, which they have transcribed as Edward Subott, and the Birch family has been transcribed as Bush (direct link is https://search.ancestry.co.uk/cgi-bin/sse.dll?db=uki1841&indiv=try&h=13775901). Ancestry has transcribed William Birch's age as 45 rather than 25 and in that case I tend to agree with Ancestry rather than FamilySearch, although it is so faded it is very hard to tell.

Thank you for locating this "interesting" transcription for both the Birch family & Edward Smith.
