A Significant surname, Turland, has been found used as a middle name how can I research the link?

Thomas Browne married Mary Turland on 6 August 1827 at Wollaston Parish church. Both Thomas and Mary were 'of this parish', both signed their names. Witnesses were Anthony Warner(signed), Elizabeth Rose (mark)

(These are the parents of Newman who was baptised  in May 1839 as plain Newman so obviously decided to adopt his mother's surname later. )

I get 471 'hits' for Browns in Northamptonshire that had Turland as either their first or middle name.
I'd look for family groups in the censuses 1841 to 1911, and try and figure-out where 'my' person fitted in, then look for parish, birth, marriage and death details, and go from there.
