I can't recover my password as you do not recognize my email address.

I get emails from Wikitree log in and see my profile however, I can not make changes because it says I am dead

Peter, I'm having a hard time getting a fix on exactly what problem(s) you're having.  You appear to be logged in to the site (or were when you posted this question), so you must have used the correct password to log in.  If you can access your own profile, and there is an 'Edit' tab at the top, you should be able to click on that and open the window with your personal data.  The e-mail address you used to set up an account should be near the bottom, and if it's no longer correct you can change it there.  Also check whether you entered anything in the 'date of death' box or checked the 'still living' button.  If you need to change your password, the instructions are here:

If all that doesn't help, please post again with a little more detail about what you're attempting to do and what result you're getting.  And tell us what the e-mails say that you're getting from WikiTree when things aren't working.
Peter, you might email info at (@) wikitree.com and see if they can assist. They're the only ones who can update accounts and passwords like that.
