Help, find records confirming Jacob Woodson 1762-1850 is parent of Samuel Woodson 1809-1851.

Question

My brickwall is Samuel Woodson (1809-1851 ), he married Martha Ann Barger (1821-1886) on 18Aug1846 in Rockbridge Co., VA.  They are both buried in High Bridge Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Rockbridge, VA located near Natural Bridge, VA.  Would like to have solid proof his father was Jacob Woodson (1762-1850) from Amherst County, VA.
