Question

I'm sorry I posted my tag backwards.  

Her name is Cora and that is all I know, except for the info I just posted. It's just such a mystery, I have information on her. 

I added a very long, correction, with a little more information.

Hi Julie, here is link to a help page on Tags and their function.  They are usually used to follow surnames that we wish to follow, and any activity to profiles with those names will be listed on Wiki Genealogy Feed  which you can find near bottom of the drop down list under My WikiTree.  A tag of Parent will bring up profiles with last name of Parent.

In my tags, I corrected it , it's called Parent  She is my 3rd Great Grandmother, she died 8 yrs after my Great Grandfather was born;. For some reason there is NO INFO at ALL her . It's very strange, none of my cousins know anything..

I appreciate any help, you can give ....

Julie, you can create a profile for her with the name Cora Unknown, and later on if you discover the name she was born with, you can change it.  

For the data field, you can estimate what her birth year might have been.  

The more information you can add to the Biography section of your great grandfather and your grandparents, the more help others might be able to give you in identifying Cora's background.

For the Biography section of Cora Unknown, you might need to say, "we know nothing about her except that she married ____".  In the Research Notes section, you can list the sources you have tried to look for information and been unsuccessful.  All of this assumes -- correctly, eventually -- that someone else will try to help you and you want then to have all the information you have!

Are you looking for surname - "Parent" documents?  is Cora's name Cora Parent? if so, do you know who her spouse, or parents or any of her kids are, or where she was living at any point in time?
