Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people?

I want to contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree. Here are people I can add, along with dates and locations:

  • Edward Showler of Great Horwood, Bucks, 1673-1734
  • Thomas Showler of Great Horwood, Bucks, c1640-died1690

Here are the sources I am using:  The Shouler/Showler family tree has been extensively researched by several family members over the last 40 years (long before the advent of the internet or Ancestry!)  It has been reliably traced back to Thomas Showler (c 1640-1690) who lived in Great Horwood, Bucks.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

But what sources are you using?

Is this in the district in Buckinghamshire, England?

Yes, Buckinghamshire in England

I found what looks like a marriage record for Edward Showler:

"England Marriages, 1538–1973 ," database, FamilySearch(https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N2TH-FQW : 10 February 2018), Edward Showler and Elizabeth Pardy, 19 Apr 1704; citing Great Horwood,Buckingham,England, reference , index based upon data collected by the Genealogical Society of Utah, Salt Lake City; FHL microfilm 919,232.

[Added more information below.]

I found a lot of children born in Horwood, Buckingham, England to a Thomae and Joanne Showler (on FamilySearch), but I could not find an Edward Showler born to that couple.

Could you please include a link to the person who needs these people added as parents?

 Thank you!
