Can someone translate what I believe is his death

Can someone translate the COLORADO  (Svensk-Amerikanska Western)  Oct 1 1891  I can see it has his name James Truitt and his hometown named in it.  Thank you so much.  A copy of the article is attached to his profile.    I think and now someone else has said it appears to be Swedish..........

A "manual" translation of the (terrible) notice:

Boulder. While blowing up rock to widen the road between Jamesfield and Springdale last Saturday, one of the workers James Truitt, was so badly injured by a blast that ran off too early, that the doctors do not have any hopes of his recovery. His right eye was torn out of his head and his right cheekbone and forehead shattered so that the brain was visible.
