Might this person qualify for England Project management?

England, Select Marriages, 1538–1973: Emm Pike (sic), Spouse: John Nickson (sic), Marriage: 1 Jan 1683 Temple Church of England, London, London, England. Ancestry Record 9852 #19792991 is the best lead that we have that places her in England...

I don't have subscriber access to review the Ancestry record. Given the hiatus of Southern Colonies Project, I don't know of a manager to contact about this profile being kept with a project box (which is probably should be).

Thanks.

The profile did not have a project as profile manager which is how projects monitor project profiles. A project as PM is also needed for a profile to be PPP. (I add these details for newer members).

The answer is Yes, we would love to have the England Project as co-manager for this profile!  It would be especially helpful since apparently incorrect parents may be added.

I changed the project box to Southern Pioneers and added Southern Pioneers Project as PM. These are early settlers in Carolina Colony. Please feel free to add the England Project as well as Project Box. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Hi Paula,

The England Project will be happy to co-manage this profile as there are collateral profiles that need attention as well. Thanks!

That’s great, Traci!! Thanks! I think this is a great example of a profile which could benefit from dual project management!
This is great news. Thanks.
Paula, Southern Pioneers covers from 1776 forward (to 1900, I believe) so would not be appropriate for protecting/co-managing this profile.  She would come under the about-to-be-revived Southern Colonists profile (which will cover up to 1776).

US Southern Colonists is being revived.  A group of us are working on a re-scope that will work in partnership with Maryland and Virginia projects and will pre-date Southern Pioneers (which covers post-1776).

Glad to hear this. I have several profiles that I manage that are stickered and fall into the date range. Thanks for the point about the correct data range for the applicable project period; until the dormant project is back up and running, it's probably fine to leave it co-managed by England and the active Southern Pioneers, even though the date range is off.

On the other hand, maybe the project box should be the correct name, and the link to management left as is until such time as Southern Colonist is re-activated?
