I am so sorry I did not see your question previously. I am the profile manager for William Harrow. He is the brother of my great great grandmother, Nancy Jane Harrow Valentine Truitt. I am still filling out biography information for the Harrow family.
About four years ago, I was at the Nebraska State Historical Society in Lincoln, NE and looked at the local papers. I was not able to find an obituary. Here is what I did find:
The Semi Weekly Custer County Chief
2 January 1930
The body of W.I. Harrow was brought to Callaway Monday morning from Rochester, Minn where he had been a patient at a clinic. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church at 3:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Mer. Swanson, and burial was in Rosehill cemetery.
The Semi Weekly Custer County Chief
10 January 1930
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Harrow of Kansas City and Mrs. E.B. Thorton of Beatrice left Wednesday afternoon for their homes after having attended the funeral of their father, W.I. Harrow.
It's possible there are other local papers that were not in the Society's collections or that they have since added additional papers.
Through which of William's children do you descend? I have additional information that may be of interest to you, and would be interested in sharing what information you have. It is probably best to contact me through the messaging functions on William's profile as I believe that will be sent directly to my email.
