Looking for family of Frances(Fanny) Pearce in UK

Question

I'm attempting to assist a friend with her tree the only information we have comes from 1901/1911 census's and Fanny's marriage certificate

Frances according to census b circa 1863/5 Portsmouth Hampshire m Sidney G Foster (Forster) 1889 St Georges Hanover Square London certificate shows Walter to be father. Mother Emily A b Kingston London circa 1838 is living with Fanny in 1901 and in portsmouth workhouse in 1911 (died 1916)

Unable to find Fanny's birth or marriage for Walter and Emily or connect any of them prior to 1901 census     Any help appreciated

Sidney George Foster marries Frances Pearce 4th Qtr 1889. St George, Hanover

Square, London England.

Her Mother Emily A. Pearce  remains elusive.

Here is  possibility:     In 1881 Census for Emily A. Pearce and her husband

Stephen L. Pearce. There is a Servant staying with them Fanny Bowers born

abt 1865. Could be they adopted this girl,or this was her Foster home.

I have not found a birth record for a Frances or Fanny Pearce.

Not saying this is true,just a possibility.
