Julia “Lulu” Rowena Pease was born March 12, 1878 in Elba Township, Gratiot, Michigan. She is the daughter of Benjamin Franklin Pease and Lucy Elizabeth Coon. She first married William Wilbur July 23, 1893. She married second Clinton Eugene DeGroff April 19 1894. She married third Leroy Turner Patterson April 26, 1900. Julia died February 18, 1916 in Durand, Shiawassee, Michigan.
