I am looking for a little assistance and clarity with cemeteries in the Barberton, Mpumalanga Province urban area. EGGSA lists 9 memorials/cemeteries. Of interest to me are three cemeteries:
The Barberton Historical Cemetery which I suspect is the east most cemetery at the top of Gospel Street (this is well catalogued by eGGSA. This is listed on Find a Grave 2510957; then.
The Nagpur Street Cemetery which is rather small (also catalogued and photographed by eGSSA); and then
The Umjindi Cemeteries which some call the Barberton Main Cemetery, and which do not appear to be catalogued. It is quite a large expanse of land. This cemetery is west of the Nagpur Street Cemetery and immediately west of the Barberton TB Hospital. I suspect this is the main municipal cemetery and it is still active, since Google Earth show new grave diggings. This may be the one listed on Billion Graves 222036
Is there anybody with local knowledge who can assist me with some clarification on the names of these three Cemeteries.
