William was an early settler in East Nissouri twp, Oxford county, Ontario, Canada.  At his home in 1823 his step-son Donald Mcdonell married Sarah Cameron.  Also know he was in the Oxford militia.

Donald Mcdonell is my gg-grandfather and brick wall.  Any info on William's wife, step-son and other family would be much appreciated.
